DESCRIPTION:We’re serving in rural Ghana\, partnering with local communities to support health and education efforts. Akoma Ntoso Foundation is a nongovernmental\, not-for-profit partnership between American and Ghanaian volunteer groups focused on improving medical well-being\, promoting healthy lifestyles\, and strengthening educational opportunities in underserved areas. Our work will center on practical\, community-based support\, guided by local leadership and the specific needs of residents\, with the goal of making a meaningful and respectful contribution during our time in Ghana.
